Factories
Factories are your reliable idle income. Their cost scales with ownership, which makes every new tier feel valuable when it arrives.

This is the practical path through a fresh Dookie Clicker run. The names are silly; the choices are real. Buy what keeps your income moving, return when it is fun, and prestige only when the reset will make your next session better.
There is no single mandatory purchase order. A good early rule is to alternate between an affordable factory and a useful tap improvement when both are available.

Tap power matters most at the beginning and whenever an active session is your goal. It complements factories rather than replacing them.
MPs are a separate long-term progression currency. Spend them deliberately on the options that fit the way you play; the point is to shape future runs, not to rush one screen.
Skins, themes and particles are visual unlocks. They are for expressing a run and changing the mood of the factory, not for hiding a paywall.
Prestige is the moment to end a mature run and convert its progress into permanent momentum. Before pressing it, look at the reward and ask whether it will noticeably speed up your next climb. If the answer is no, there is no harm in continuing the current run.
True Reset is the deeper reset option. Treat it as a deliberate fresh-start tool, not ordinary progression: read the confirmation text and make sure you understand what it will clear before choosing it.
Care packages are short reward moments rather than a requirement to play. Events and surprise appearances are designed to break up the normal factory loop. If one appears, interact with it; if you miss it, the core game continues normally.
Dookie Clicker saves locally in the browser or app profile you are using. Keep the same browser profile if you want that local progress to remain available. Clearing site data, switching profiles or using private browsing can remove or isolate a local save. If a save issue occurs, visit Support before repeatedly clearing data.
Lite Mode is the performance-conscious presentation mode. It keeps play controls and major artwork available but simplifies the most expensive effects. It is useful on phones, battery-saving setups, software-rendered browsers or any device that feels choppy.
The mode selector is visible on the site. Switching modes does not change game rules or scores; it changes the presentation workload. If you prefer less motion, your browser's reduced-motion setting is also respected.
| Problem | First thing to try |
|---|---|
| The page feels slow | Switch to Lite Mode, close heavy tabs and reload once. |
| Sound does not begin | Tap the page or game once; browsers require a gesture before allowing audio. |
| A minigame will not open | Use the main Mini Games button again, then refresh if the section still does not appear. |
| Progress looks missing | Confirm you are using the same browser/profile and have not cleared site data. |
